Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) contacted for the Harbour upgrade project of N. Kendhikulhudhoo

Under this project, the island harbour will be expanded and a boat beaching area will be constructed to accommodate the islands vessels. The work includes expansion of the harbour from the north of the west side of the harbour and a 168 m of rock outer canal to extend the port canal. 

Director General, Fatimath Shaana Farooq signed the agreement on behalf of the Ministry. MTCC CEO Adam Azim signed on behalf of the company.

The project costing MVR 79,022,724.12 is to be completed within 500 days.
