MTCC contracted for shore protection project of K. Himmafushi

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been awarded the contract of K. Himmafushi shore protection project.

Under this project, the island port will be expanded and a boat beaching area will be constructed to solve the problem of flooding in Hinmafushi. 160 meters of rock revetment, 53 meters of rock groin and 127 meters of rock outer canal will be laid in the southern part of the island.

The agreement was signed by the Director General, Shaana Farooq on behalf of the Ministry. MTCC CEO Adam Azim signed on behalf of the company.

11,807,280.36 and will be completed within 180 days.
