MTCC contracted for Land Reclamation of K.Gulhi

The government has contracted Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) to carry out land reclamation project for K.Gulhi.

Director General Fathimath Shaana Farooq signed the contract on behalf of the Ministry while the CEO of MTCC, Adam Azim signed the contract on behalf of the company.

Under this project, 10 hectares of land will be reclaimed in K.Gulhi. This includes 940 meters of revetment, 362 meters of geobag revetment and 88 meter groin will be constructed for the shore protection of the island.

The contract was signed for MVR 89,634,790.08 and the work is to be completed within 450 days.
