Water and sewerage services officially inaugurated in F. Magoodhoo.
The water and sewerage services of Magoodhoo were officially inaugurated by HEP Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
The project was awarded to Altech Maldives Pvt Ltd in the year 2019. Under the project water system will provide water services by combining desalinated water and rainwater.
Two RO plants with a capacity of 35 tonnes per day and two tanks of 230 cubic meters have been installed under the system. Moreover, 5.4 km water network has been installed and 168 houses have been supplied with water.
In addition, two pumping stations were constructed and 4.2 km pipes were laid to connect sewerage services to 168 households.
First Lady Fazna Ahmed, along with Minister Mohamed aslam and parliament member of the constituency joined the ceremony held tonight.
